Sends current settings to this node.

This function can be called when the node is in the Ready state or the Running state. If called while running, the sensor will momentarily stop and then restart with the new settings. Note, this has no effect on data streaming; connections will remain open, and messages from before the apply operation may be received after the apply operation completes.
